Why Badin Lake?

Badin Lake was identified as an ideal location for The Delsa as it sits between the four largest cities of North Carolina - the Raleigh Triangle Area, Winston-Salem, Charlotte and Fayetteville – this gives opportunity for easy access from all sides. Whether headed east or west, the Atlantic Ocean and the Blue Ridge Mountains are both a couple hours away making day trips feasible, and Badin Lake, known as the largest fishing lake in North Carolina, borders the Uwharrie National Forest, making both immediately available to be enjoyed by hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, bike riding, horseback riding, ATV trails or just relaxing in a hammock.

This beautiful backdrop makes the perfect place to create a haven that nurtures us as human beings.

The Badin Lake area averages 213 days of sunshine and 46 inches of rain annually, thus supporting both organic gardening and sustainable utilities.
