“Boat America” Safely Boating Course

Did you know?

Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 is required by N.C. law to complete a boater safety education course in order to operate a vessel with a motor of 10 horsepower or greater on public waters!

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary is hosting this class. 

Covered topics include;  Introduction to Boating - Boating Law – Navigation - Safe Boating - Boat Problems - Trailering, Storing and Protecting Your Boat - Boat Safety Equipment 

Cost: $25.00 per student. After completing the class, students will be mailed their certificate and ID card.

There will be a 1/2-hour break for lunch (not provided) – There is a restaurant in the park.
